Artist opportunities through our

POODLE INK non-profit

Poodle Ink is a non profit organization aimed to support youth who are interested in art and seek the discipline involved in the craft of silkscreening. Under the trade expertise that our expert master printers bring to the studio, additional life skills such as leadership, educational value, and proactive community engagement evolve.

It is under the "Inkubator Program" that young and emerging artists are mentored by established artists who participate with Haven Studio and Gallery to bring their knowledge and expertise in real world experiences to promote art and learn the management skills necesary to create a viable and sustainable profession.

Poodle Ink collaborates with our fiscal agent Artists for Trauma (AFT) http://artistsfortrauma.org.  The organization aims to expedite recovery through artistic expression and human connection, providing a creative portal to help patients process complex emotions, regain confidence and build self-acceptance after suffering a traumatic experience.

Artists in residence of Poodle Ink are encouraged to particpate with AFT in community outreach events and serve on the board of directors as an advisory member.
